Oak Point Campground, Harrisburg Illinois

Oak Point Campground, located in Harrisburg, Illinois, offers the outdoor enthusiast hiking trails around the scenic lake, as well as a trail to Signal Bluff. Signal Bluff is a rocky ridge which is a beautiful reward for hikers. The campground is open all year and has electric and primitive sites. The electric sites are $16 per night and the primitive are $11. When we were here last weekend we grabbed an electric site since it was cold and we like to keep warm in the tent by plugging in our electric blanket. Also it’s nice to be able to charge all the electronics. Surrounded by tall pine trees and mixed hardwood forest, its central location makes it easy to visit main attractions on either side of the forest or any place in-between.
